My theme is not compatible with amp and that is causing issues since today.
They sent me this code for my theme builders to look at/adjust: https://we.tl/t-Ir41P3KAcy

DaveAugust 21, 2023 at 3:51 pm #207181I deactivated the plugin I have been using for years (official AMP plugin) and installed another one, as it was suddenly causing issues resulting in a very ugly mobile version of my website. Obviously i would like to switch back and not have compatibility issues.
Plugin support told me this: “Thank you for contacting us, Your theme SKT Girlie is not AMP compatible, but if you have recently updated your theme (parent theme) it may result in various issues.”
I am not sure what’s causing all the issues with my website lately…
August 23, 2023 at 3:37 pm #207205Answer from AMP plugin: “Thank you for switching back to the AMP plugin, This looks more like a CSS issue that is related to your theme and not the AMP plugin, When you switched to transitional mode your primary theme will be served for both non-AMP as well AMP pages. but in case your theme is not AMP compatible it will look messy.”
August 25, 2023 at 2:00 pm #207241Hi,
Kindly use “AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages” plugin for AMP compatibility
https://wordpress.org/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/

DaveAugust 28, 2023 at 11:22 pm #207268Tried that one as well… I activated it again, but can’t get my custom theme to extend to AMP. Is this: https://ampforwp.com/tutorials/article/child-theme-amp/ the way??
August 29, 2023 at 1:22 pm #207280Hi,
https://saudadesdeportugal.nl/amp/
We have checked, our theme is working fine with AMP.
Custom theme to extend to AMP, is not a part of our theme support.

DaveAugust 31, 2023 at 3:12 pm #207322Okay, I get it. Will take it up with them (when you checked the plugin was disabled).
Last question. What is causing this screen to show all the time? – https://imgur.com/a/FJUNhNQ
Every time I click on an article or something in the menu to go to a different page on my website I see this (very ugly!). This was never the case before…
August 31, 2023 at 4:30 pm #207323Hi,
I think this is happening due to plugin conflicting.
Kindly check for conflicting plugins disable all of the plugins and see if it works.
If its working fine then some plugin is conflicting. Activate them one by one to find out which one is causing problems.
Regards,
