Hi team

I ‘m trying to do this with wpml plugin but i have some issue:1. where i can translate the content of the home page section?
2. i tried to translate the string “latest post”. Wpml see the string, and in the wpml form i’m able to translate (in theme localization tab in the plugin ), but when i look at the site, translation doesn’t show.Do u can show me what is the better way to translate all my site?
It’s very strange, because in the free version of theme, it worked!!!wait for your reply
April 29, 2015 at 12:49 pm #6337Hi,
Any static text anywhere on the sections (Appearance>Theme Options>Sections) can be changed using shortcodes
like the following: [wpml_language code=’es’] STATIC TEXT [/wpml_language]
[wpml_language code=’en’] STATIC TEXT [/wpml_language]
Hope this helps.

ShriApril 29, 2015 at 4:21 pm #6345Hi shri,
thanx for your reply, i tried your method, but seems that the theme catch the code as text.u can see the effect on : www.altfra.it/test4
in “our service” section, beyond the 4 boxes.
and i would also u to segnalate that the function in wpml plugin, to translate the string, recognises the string to translate ( an example “latest post”) and gives me the chance to translate it, but after saving, in main site when i change the language, the text remains the same.
Pls help.
Regards.

I’ve also installed this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpml-translate-shortcode/
but seems that the wpml shortcode was disable from the editor.
in fact, now in the “our service” section no text are shown.
But i think that the things strangest is that the translation of the strings works on the free version of the theme and doesn’t work on pro version.
How is possible?
Waiting..

ShriApril 30, 2015 at 11:48 am #6379Hi,
Thanks for letting us into your WordPress. It appears you haven’t purchased WPML.
If you have purchased WPML you need to enable it from here: http://www.sheyda.it/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=commercial
Because the same shortcodes i pasted into yours work here: http://moritz.feeddog.org/
Regards,
