Character Theme

I am trying to setup Character theme home page but only have shortcodes for latest posts – so if I want diffrerent layouts in each section, posts are duplicated as there is no other way of filtering. I need to be able to display posts individually by number or by category to give some variety to the home page.

Did you try to check the documentation of the theme?

I already had demo content and yes of course I read the doumentation but it only allows for recent post so in each section I can only add recent posts – so they all look the same. I need to be able to include different posts – here are all the post options and as you can see they are all latest posts:

Latest Blog Post Style 1
[latestposts show=”1″]
Latest Blog Post Style 2
[latestposts_style_1 show=”2″]
Latest Blog Post Style 3
[latestposts_style_2 show=”2″]
Latest Blog Post Style 4
[latestposts_style_3 show=”1″]

I need to select different posts for each section.
