One of my clients has pointed out that the featured images don’t resize proportionally in Safari browser, or on iPads and iPhones. It works fine on Mac and PC Chrome, and all Android devices. Is there something I can do about this?
Thank you,

However as per CSS we have kept it at 100% width and height as auto so it fits into the place and shows as per proportion.

ShriMay 6, 2016 at 6:20 pm #32886Hi Shri,
I’m not sure what you mean. Are you able to see the image becoming compressed on the Y-axis on a smartphone’s portrait orientation screen? I can send you a photo, if you like. This only seems to happen on Mac Safari and iPhone/iPads. Chrome on Mac displays correctly.
Thank you,

ShriMay 9, 2016 at 1:40 pm #33096Hi Shri,
Thank you. I’ve attached a link to the screen shot showing the site as view on a Mac.
The image shows the page compressed laterally in Google Chrome and it appears normal, i.e. reduced in size but still proportional. The one on the left is resized horizontally to about the same size in Safari and, as you can see, the image is compressed and no longer proportional.
Thank you for your attention. Please let me know if there’s anything else you need to help figure this out.
Cheers,

Theme has been updated since this is a problem for users.
Given you re-access to the theme. Kindly re-download the theme, activate some other theme, delete the old theme and upload and activate new theme.
Deletion of theme does not delete theme options or its settings. Uploading and activating the new theme will solve these problems.

BradMay 11, 2016 at 11:47 am #33312Hi Brad,
Thank you. Before I do this, can you confirm that all my photos, sliders, settings, custom CSS, etc. will remain unaffected, or will I have to re-do some things?
I look forward to your response.

MichaelMay 11, 2016 at 11:50 am #33313Also, how do I re-download the theme? I only see an option to purchase. Please let me know how to proceed. Thanks again.
May 11, 2016 at 11:55 am #33315Hi Michael,
Upgrade of theme does not affect theme options or its settings.
But if you click on “Restore Default” slider and some settings are affected.
