Hi. How can I change the title/meta-tags for the homepage since there is not a designated “homepage” and it is made up of sections?
Thank you.

I am using yoast SEO. The problem is there is no “home page” to assign a meta tag to – since it is made up of sections.
Thanks.
March 8, 2017 at 1:07 pm #64799You can go to Yoast SEO settings>homepage and add title and description for the front page.

Dave,
These are my options:
You can determine the title and description for the front page by editing the front page itself »You can determine the title and description for the blog page by editing the blog page itself »
When I click on the first option, it redirects me to the same page. I believe because there is no
“front page” since it is made up of sections?March 9, 2017 at 12:49 pm #64901Kindly send us WordPress admin details and URL of the site via sktthemes.net/contact and will fix this issue.

DaveMarch 14, 2017 at 12:55 pm #65397Dave,
The home page is a post page- it is not my front-page.
I’ve tried both of your suggestions:
1) go to the “home” page that I created (but is not my actual home page) and entered in the meta tag. Did not work.
2) Opened Yoast –> homepage –click on editing front page –> Yoast re-directs me to the “general” page.I have worked with Yoast in previous sites and have not had this issue.
Shri asked for me log-in to fix this and nothing has been changed from my understanding.
Thanks for your help.
March 14, 2017 at 1:08 pm #65401Added the meta title and meta description here: http://www.ezhvac.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_titles#top#home
It is exactly where one can edit the title and description of the homepage which is reflected in the source code as well.
Hope this is clear now and can be resolved.

ShriMarch 14, 2017 at 1:13 pm #65404Thank you! That worked – Yoast kept redirecting me back to the “general” tab. Thank you thank you!
