ok, thanks we have managed to get site restored.
I think the final conclusion is the contact form is not the greatest and the format of the email recd once a submission is made requires a great deal of work to be of real use without a lot of coding experience.
In summary the theme and templates is not for the faint hearted and inexperienced.
Not sure what contact form format email in which you get the mail has to do coding experience. You didn’t handle any coding. Also headers being sent weren’t working on your server. It differs from server to server.
And contact form 7 free version can be modified to appear like the form we have shown and used.
We did whatever was supposed to be done. We asked for ftp weren’t given so all this back and forth was done.
