    I am having this exact same issue, on 2 different sites, with 2 different themes. The copyright area has disappeared, and the editor has a bug that I can’t view or edit the copyright area.

    I did add this css as per the thread, .copytext:empty { display: block;}

    However, I can’t add anythig into the copyright box, it is empty and when I add something it disappears.
