I followed the instructions to set up the search thingy on the dating theme (the part where it says I am a, looking for a…etc) and for some reason, the I am a part has stretched right across the screen and the other search boxes are all below it. They are all supposed to be on one line. What have I done wrong?
Also when I changed the slider in the customise part, nothing changed.

Kindly go to Appearance >> Customize>>Basic >> Scroll down to find Custom CSS and paste there:
#buddypress { width:100%;}
.horizontalform div:first-child { width:15%;}
For Slider
When you add new slide instead of default so first removed all three slides field data Slide Image, Slide Title, Slide Link, Slide Button than add your new slides data.
