Footer Widgets

Per default on the footer of PhotoWorld theme there are 4 divs.
If I use at least one footer widget, there are only 3 divs left…. Is it possible to change this to have 4 footer widget areas and so to have the possibility to use tha whole space…

Hi,

Sorry for your trouble. The 4th div is of contact us section manageable using Theme Options.

To remove this and use anything else you can check footer.php and remove the code there and place anything (widget, plugin shortcode etc there).

If you need help from us to remove that and apply anything else let us know.

I know how to change this by myself, but maybee its generally interestig…

Default is:
[Main] [Useful] [Social] [Contact]

If I use Footer Widget 1:

[MyWidget] [Social] [Contact]

Expected:

[MyWidget] [Useful] [Social] [Contact]

I have changed footer.php and functions.php to have 4 configurable sidebars at bottom….

Are you interested in getting these 2 files?

I think I’m looking for something similar, at least in the same area. I like the Social Settings area but I don’t use Linkedin or Google+. Is there a way to select/deselect and add, such as Vimeo/Youtube/Instragram/etc.? I am not a coding person, so my request may be simple, but difficult for implement.

Footer is widgetized and you can use Appearance>Widgets>Footer widget 3 and drag and drop a plugin widget and use it where you can have all the social icons you need.
