Hello, I don’t seem to be able to change the fonts on the gardening theme.
When I change them in the font editor they change on the preview screen. But then once I have saved my changes, they do not show up on the live site front end. Please advise.Stephen

BradFebruary 22, 2017 at 12:20 pm #62881Hello Brad,
I am still having trouble with this. I have emailed Shri numerous times and this is still not resolved. My previous experiences with SKT support have been good but on this issue SKT have not been helpful. I suggested that there might be a bug in this theme and I explain my thinking on this. But SKT simply don’t seem to want to investigate.
Just last week Shri told me that he would ask the coders to look into it for me. But since then Shri no longer responds to my emails.
The Gardening Theme Pro simply does not let me change the font.
I purchased it in good faith and not can’t use it.
Can someone else there please respond.
StephenFebruary 22, 2017 at 1:18 pm #62887Hi Stephen,
Shri asked you for your server details which were denied. We are currently working on our own site redesign and when that is complete we will have our coders free to have our own server installation and would check this issue.
Till then you will have to sit tight on this issue as providing us server from your end would have expedited the issue.

BradFebruary 24, 2017 at 9:57 pm #63207I’m having the same issue and I see this was 2 weeks ago.
What is the status?
February 27, 2017 at 12:44 pm #63456Hello Michelle,
Just so you don’t go through the same hassle that I have add in getting this resolved. Here’s my story.
I sent many emails to SKT to explain that I thought there was a bug in their theme. I was told quite bluntly that their themes don’t have bugs. So I went back and checked this theme on several different WordPress installations and I explained my findings to them. And still they refused to try and try it for themselves. It was only just last week that they did try it and discovered a bug in it. Quite why they didn’t do this in the beginning I have no idea. But they tell me they are going to fix it.
I hope that SKT take a lesson from this… Never dismiss the possibility of there being a bug in your own product. It’s an unrealistic position to take, and just frustrates the hell out of customers.February 27, 2017 at 12:58 pm #63464@Michelle and @Stephen: First and foremost we did ask Stephen on the very first email to send us access to his site which we were denied to. Then thereafter we thought it might be possible customer didn’t check through things properly which happens in 99% of our customers cases here it was an exception this time.
We did realize when we worked on our server which are now overburdened due to several theme demos and other client works that due to the 4.7 Customizer update Gardening theme had this issue.
While Gardening theme was complained about we had to again go back and check the other 34 themes which were updated that day and of course none of the others have this issue.
So we are currently working on it from Thursday evening (we don’t work during the weekends) and we should be able to update the theme by tomorrow or day after tomorrow.
Again not blaming any of the clients here of course the fault was ours.
Thanks for your continued patience.

ShriFebruary 27, 2017 at 4:10 pm #63513Thank you, now that brings me to another question.
How often do you update your themes? Since you don’t have child themes
February 28, 2017 at 7:26 am #63595Hi,
Theme has been updated.
Kindly re-download the theme, activate some other theme, delete the old theme and upload and activate new theme.
Deletion of theme does not delete theme options or its settings. Uploading and activating the new theme will solve these problems.
