    Hello,

    I want to make a link from a featured box to a post. This doesn’t seem to be possible, only pages are selectable. Is this correct?
    Background: The content of the page referred by the featured box should be changeable
    by someone without the rights to change the pages of the website. So this is obviously an autor who has only permissions to change an own post. Correct?
    So I made a link to page which offers a link (or more) to post.
    But the post should looks like a page. My main question: How can I hide ‘category’,
    ‘archives’, no comments ?

    Best Regards

    Matthias

    Hi Dave,

    Sorry, the homepage I’m preparing is still on a PC running under xampp. I will need at least 4 weeks to move it up to the server. I could send you a screenshot of the post showing my issue. Otherwise I have to wait until the site is uploaded.
    But : Isn’t there a general wordpress or better a theme option which defines the look of posts? For instance I have already the following line to suppress “Edit” in my style.css:

    .post-edit-link{display:none;}

    Best Regards

    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,

    Kindly go to Appereance>>Widget>>Blog Sidebar
    Drag and drop any blank text widget to remove default widgets.

    Kindly go to Appereance>>Theme Option>>Basic Setting>>Custom CSS Box

    Add this code there:

    .blog-post-repeat .postmeta{display:none;}

    Regards,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,

    Thank you for your support!
    Your proposals work good. But what can I do to avoid that the post will be shown on the footer?

    Best Regards

    Matthias

    Hi Matthias,

    Kindly go to Appereance>>Widget>>Footer Widget 3

    Drag and drop any text widget in Footer Widget 3 to remove default widgets.
