Height of homepage slider

Hi!
I’ve already asked this from support, but got a reply that did not solve the issue: by default the height of the homepage slider is quite tall: it takes almost whole screen of average notebook. The reply I got from support was “use images of size 1400px wide and 300px”.
This somewhat reduced size, but just by 5%. How can the height be reduced further?

Hi,

Kindly go to Appearance>>Theme Option>>Basic Setting>>Custom CSS Box

Add this code:

#slider{max-height:400px;}

Hi,

I kept 1 image from sample when installed and added another image. The page goes up and down when the slider changes. How do I stop this? I will send link to page in contact form and ref this thread.
