Homepage slider max width and height

Hello,

I am tinkering with the homepage slider. I was able to find a solution for adjusting the height through this custom css found in the forum:

.slider-main{height:500px !important;}
#slider{max-height:500px !important;}

However, for the width it seems that I’m not able to center the image properly when I change the #slider width% value in editor. Additionally, I’d like the image to scale properly within the frame/container.

Hi Chris,

You can even remove the slider and use your own slider as well by removing our shortcode and then using your own slider shortcode so this kind of hassle of width and height and centering will be removed.

The shortcode of our slider is present in appearance>theme options>homepage slider.
