Home › Forums › All Other Themes › How to Delete Default Testimonials Page?
Hello,
I’ve deleted the default testimonials page from my backend in WordPress (emptied it from the trash as well), as I didn’t like the layout and would prefer to create my own testimonials page. However, even after doing this, test.genetargeting.com/testimonials still links to the default testimonial page. And the page I want as our actual testimonial page only comes up as test.genetargeting.com/testimonials-2
Is there any way to get the page is currently shown on “testimonials-2” to just have the slug “/testimonials”?
Hi,
https://test.genetargeting.com/
We have unable to create new page, kindly ask to hosting provider about this error “Publishing failed. Post not found”.
We have disabled all the plugins to check but it is not working.

Hi,
That error comes up for me too and I’m not sure what it is, but I just ignore it because posts still get created in spite of the error. Could you try again and check in the posts and the front end to see if your new post is created?
I figured it out.
Solution: going to test.genetargeting.com/testimonials then clicking “edit media” at the top bar and “permanently delete.” Then it finally let me change testimonials-2 to just testimonials.
Great!! ????
Regards,
Dave
