Issue with Static Page

Hi,

I’m using the design agency theme.I wanted to make the homepage into a static page ( because page load time was very high ) but am facing problems while doing that.
(1) the title tag of the homepage is getting changed to the page i choose to show as a front page
(2) when i click on the link of the page ( which is assigned as homepage ) from the menu, then it opened the homepage instead of opening the page selected.
(3) If i choose to use only the posts on the homepage, then all the posts are showing. can i restrict the number of posts to show on the homepage to 3
(4) if i choose to show the posts on the homepage then the Homepage’s title tag changes to the title of the latest post.
