    I’ve installed plugin as advised in previous post but get list of links instead of latest posts.

    Kindly use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/list-category-posts/ to display posts of a particular category on homepage or on any other page.

    Tried those and no luck. They are widgets. I would like to just show one category. Sounds like it possible
