I have a few problems with the loading time of the homepage:
1. Is there a solution to speedup the loading time of the slider on the homepage. The pictures a not that big and it takes much longer then other themes you made.
2. If I check the pagespeed with Pingdom I find out that it takes more then 10 sec to load the page and the pagesize is 2.4 MB. I find it quit big for this page.

You should try use a simple slidder plugin (Master Slider) free and easy to use.
Theme > Customize > Front Page > Slider > Custom Slider (Slider Type) paste your wordpress plugins shortcodes
Hope this help, on my end I speed up the loading time.
