    Hi!

I’m working on this page: https://cynthialeaclark.com/PsyD/PhD/MHt/actress/writer/

I want to edit the BOOK AN APPOINTMENT button in the top right corner. Rather than having it link to a page, I would like it to link to “mailto:[email protected]”…

But I can’t seem to edit that in a way to keep the CSS of the big red button…

When I create a new menu button, it stays as the regular black font, no matter where I put it.
When I start over with a whole new menu, it seems to break the theme (the whole page gets weirdly shifted and compressed, with the content stuffed into small margins weirdly…).

And my only edit options through the Menu interface, with the menu as is (where the theme remains in tact), are editing the label (easy enough), but NOT WHAT the button links to…

How do I change what the big red button at the top links to???

    Thank you!
    Casara

    Hi,

BOOK AN APPOINTMENT menu is coming from the menu. If you want edit or change the link?

Kindly go to Appearance >> Menu >> and edit there

    Regards,
    Brad

    RESPONSE SPLIT INTO THREE POSTS

    1/3

Here’s a screencap of that window (Appearance >> Menu).

The menu item is TIED to the page. It’s not like a ‘custom link’ menu item, where I COULD change the link myself… See, there’s no option to change the link. Just the option to click the “Original” page… And view the page it’s tied to…

If I try and create a new menu item, I don’t see how I get it to adopt the css of the big red button. I was hoping the css applied to whatever menu item was at the far right… but no.

If I put a menu item to the right, it just looks like this:

And if I try a whole new menu, I lose the red button altogether:

So how do I keep the big red button and put it on a different menu item? I can’t merely edit the link, so what else can I do?

Thank you! Once I set the screen options to include that feature, I was able to spot it and make the change. Thanks!
