    hi,
    is there a way to change the position of the rectangle info and read more link from the center over the slider image to a different position (align to left for example).

    Kindly go to Appearance>Theme Options>Basic Settings>Custom CSS box:
    And paste this css code in custom box

    .slide_info { width:40% !important; margin:0 !important; float:left;}
    .nivo-caption { width:1000px !important; margin:auto; left:0 !important; right:0 !important;}
