1. How do I remove “Related Posts” section from single post view? It pulls up random stuff that isn’t relevant.
2. How do I limit previous and next post links to items in the same category? If I have something posted as news, I want the next and previous post links to be other news items, not videos or other categories.This link has examples of both: http://www.meditate-wnc.org/2017/12/17/new-classes-for-january/ :
– Related posts includes items from 2015 and 2016. I don’t want related posts at all, but there is no option to turn them off
– Next post (Breathe! –>) points to a video, not a news article.Thanks for your help.
January 11, 2018 at 7:08 am #91431Hi,
Kindly go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Layout Settings >> Custom CSS Box:
Add this code there:
#jp-relatedposts { display:none !important;}

2. How do I limit previous and next post links to items in the same category? If I have something posted as news, I want the next and previous post links to be other news items, not videos or other categories.
Thanks.

I don’t have an Imgur account, so you’ll have to rely on what’s on the page link I have provided as an example. In this example, the post is in the category “News”. The link to the previous post is <–Cancellation: Dec. 9, which is also in the same category. The Next link is Breathe!==> which is in the category “Videos”, and not relevant to the post in focus.What I want is for these links to be limited to the category that the current post is in. If you are viewing a post in News, then the links should be to the previous and next post in News. If you are looking at a post in Videos, then the links should be to the previous and next post in Videos. If you are looking at a post in Articles, then the links should be to the previous and next post in Articles.
January 22, 2018 at 6:27 am #92291Hi Mark,
What you are viewing here: http://www.meditate-wnc.org/2017/12/17/new-classes-for-january/ is the archives as per 12th i.e. 2017 December posts.
If you go to category page: http://www.meditate-wnc.org/category/news/ then you will see all the posts from that category.
Hope this makes sense to you.
Regards,
