    Hi,

I am having problems with the load speed of my website: www.scarce-it.com. I have upgraded the package I have with my host provider as I was experiencing application recycles and this is now resolved but they advised when looking at logs that sometimes the CPU limit is exceeded. This suggests the possibility that the programming of the site is too resource-intensive. My site is relatively simple and I have reduced the number of images significantly to try and reduce the amount of info. that needs to load however it take a really long time to load the initial page, especially the images and to navigate pages and is really bad in admin when trying to make changes. I have upgraded wordpress and did not find that this helped. I am wondering if it is the theme causing the issue.

Please can you investigate and advise if there is anything that you can check/improve to help me with this issue? Its really not professional for my business to have a site that loads so slowly so any help would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

Kindly use compressjpeg.com or tinypng.com to reduce sizes and compress all your images and reupload them.

Lastly kindly use WP Fastest Cache plugin and ask hosting to have Zend Op Cache and PHP Server cache applied to your site or if they have NGINX available get them to use that.

With all the above steps i am sure your site will be faster. Theme is just part of the entire WordPress website ecosystem and our themes are coded to be faster.

Rest are all generic points i mentioned here.

    Regards,
    Brad

Just normal OpCache, Memcache can be applied. Use PHP 7.1 which reduced the number of resource use to lesser amounts than PHP 5.6

And yes please use WP Fastest Cache to optimize your website.

If you still see CPU limits exceeded check disabling one by one each plugin to notice which one causes the resources to go high. If none of them work then its time to change your hosting.

    We also provide cheap hosting.

    Regards,
    Shri
