Post Category Specific Posts

#1 I am running SKT Simple and am looking to display only specific category posts on my homepage.

#2 I also have two interior pages where I would like to specify only specific category posts but keep the CSS formatting that looks like this page http://mycountryshowdown.com/radio/radio-news/?preview_id=208&preview_nonce=29272b21d9&_thumbnail_id=-1&preview=true

#3 When I try to specify categories it give me this formatting instead: http://mycountryshowdown.com/artist-blog/

Kindly use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/list-category-posts/ to display posts of a particular category on homepage or on any other page.

I am already using that plugin however, it doesn’t work on the homepage or if the page is under a parent page. And it won’t use templates already in my theme.
