I have just setup skt magazine pro. My first posts which showed up on homepage are not showing up …not sure what has happened. Also cannot get rid of widgets that came as default with template! How do I remove ‘sports’ etc?

March 21, 2017 at 1:05 pm #66250Hi,
This issue was resolved from our end. Kindly check and confirm.

DaveMarch 21, 2017 at 1:30 pm #66254But the only way I could get rid of the other widgets was to set a static page… can you help me get rid of the other widgets that came with the theme adn explain how for future reference. I can’t see where they are . This is my main issue causing me to look for hacks
Also I would like to have the static home page with just the welcome statement and one blog post thread about the upcoming journal issues and then another page (which I have setup already) for numerous blog posts on various issues. Does the blog have to ‘rotate’?I have not been able to experiment because ofthe inherited widgets overwhelm everything else.
thanks for your help.
regards
DapoMarch 22, 2017 at 1:37 pm #66370Hi,
To remove sidebar there are 2 process.
1. You go to pages>edit any page and on right hand side under page attributes select template: Full Width and save.
2. Second way is to go to Appearance>Widgets and drag and drop a new widget in main sidebar to replace what is shown in default on the sidebar.Regards,
