    I am currently using [latestposts] however, I already have the most recent post with all content displayed, so having that same one show in the latest post column is redundant. How can I offset the latestposts by 1 post?

    Hmm that isn’t possible with our shortcode. You can check plugins like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/flexible-posts-widget/
