Scale instead of cropping

Hi SKT-Team!
On home page of SKT Newspaper theme, the images for “Recent Posts of the Category” are being cropped (cut) instead of resized. How can I set this correctly (scaling, centered with white background and blue border instead of cropping)?
I sent you the page credentials and link as the site is still under construction.

Hi, seems not solved yet, I tried it again by uploading the image and it is too big, it should automatically size down to correct height but where to set these settings? Thanks
