Sections of the home page

Hello, we are working with shudh theme. We haven’t removed sections from front page, the checkmarks are not in place, but neither of the sections is displaying. Here is a screen shot

I also uploaded another theme, and sections are not displaying either. How can I control them and chose whether I want to see them or not. We are trying to create a dynamic one page website but seem to not have any control over section. It is a woocommerce website, and at first I thought that may be the plug in is messing with Shudh theme, but I uploaded skt-corp-pro, that is woocommerce ready and the same thing happened, Sections disappeared no matter what content I try to put inside of them, and mock content preinstalled with the theme disappears as well.

Hi Laura,

Sorry for the late response due to weekend.

In order to show up the sections kindly go to WordPress admin>settings>readings and select your latest posts from there and save.

Now all the sections of the homepage will appear.
