    Hello,

Im am working on a website www.coolartdesigns.de and suddenly the 4 service boxes are not side by side. What has caused this situation and how can this be fixed?

Furthermore I would like to know if the “read more” button should be linked to a page, a post or what was your idea?

    Thank you
    Hans

    Hi Hans,

Kindly go to Appearance>>Theme Option>>Basic Setting>>Custom CSS Box

    Add this code there:

    #services-box{float:left !important;}

    Regards,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,

I assume that your proposal was for the service boxes. What has caused the situation not being in line?

    Best regards
    Hans

    Hi Hans,

You can link read more button to page. In the service shortcode you will find the link option.

    [services title="Web" bold="Design" icon="image URL" link="PAGE URL HERE"]TEXT HERE[/services]

    Regards,
    Dave

    Dave,

I know that I can link the “read more” button but my question was is it necessary to link it or is there a waay to fold out the content from a certain point on?
If it it necessary to link it to a page or a post? I would like to understand your intention so I can use my knowledge for the other themes as well.

    Thank you
    Hans

    Hi Hans,

Are we talking about anchor links from read more to a specific content on the same page?

    Regards,
    Shri

    Hello Shri,

in principle we are talking about if it it necessary to link it to the service page if the content exceeds a specific length or if it can be handled to fold it down after clicking on the “read more” button. In that case everything beyond the read more button should be invisible until you click on the read more button. Does this invisible part need to be placed on a certain page or post or can it be placed beneath the read more button and how can it be activated?

    Thank you
    Hans

So i didn’t quite understand do you want to control the number of words you see in services boxes? Or make read more go down as per content length?

    Regards,
    Shri

Currently you see the full content of the service box even if it is very long.
I wonder if you can limit the length or number of words if you want and fold out the length by clicking the read more button?

    Best
    Hans

    I see…

So how do you the number of words visible? I assume that a custom CSS.

What do suggest for read more? Place everthing on a new page and open this page by “read more” or ist there any more stylish way to go? 😉

    Thank you
    Hans
