I have noticed that the header/slider/menu appear on the home page when in responsive view. No other content displays until scrolling is started – the rest of the screen is blank initially. Is it possible to have the page display initially without having to scroll? I’m using the Bakery Pro theme. I still want to use the slider function eventually once I get the proper photos for scroll bar.
I attempted to remove the slider images temporarily and use the normal header that is on other pages, but it covers a portion of the page.
I am new at this (my first site), so I could use any help you have to offer. Just bear with me.
My URL is deannasdesignstlouis.com if you need it.
Thanks in advance,
ShaunOctober 18, 2016 at 6:45 am #49985Hi Shaun,
Animation has to be disabled because without scrolling there is no animation and the below sections remain hidden.
Kindly refer to this forum post on how to disable animation: https://www.sktthemes.org/forums/topic/home-page-responsive-display/
In case you are unable to disable animation on your own kindly send us your URL of the site and WordPress admin details via sktthemes.net/contact.
Please mention this forum URL while replying so that we understand what needs to be done.

BradOctober 18, 2016 at 3:38 pm #50068I had looked at that post. As I said this is my first attempt at this, and I am unclear where to access the custom.js and the style.css. I perform a search and get several of these files with [1], [2], [3], etc…
Any help would be appreciated. When you asked for URL and the admin information for the site and WP, did you mean user/password?

I have another question and I can add to new post if you would like me to.I am creating a page that I would like to put a button that will take me to another page on the site. I have figured out how to get the button to work, but I am unable to get it to center on the page. It is on the left side of page.
any suggestion would help.
Thanks,

BradOctober 20, 2016 at 11:58 am #50309I have built the page and previewing it, but not linked it to the site or any other pages. I am not sure if that matters, but here it is.
http://deannasdesignstlouis.com/index.php/age-verification
It is for adult custom cakes and we haven’t started that part of the business yet but wanted it built out and ready. my plan was to give the age warning and then take them to a page with the gallery.
If you have any other suggestions, it would be appreciated.

October 20, 2016 at 12:00 pm #50310I wanted the ENTER button centered.
Thanks
October 20, 2016 at 12:13 pm #50313Hi Shaun,
You can use button shortcode for ENTER button. Kindly go to Appearance>>Theme Option>>Shortcode and use any button shortcode.

BradOctober 20, 2016 at 12:29 pm #50317Looks like you put me on the right path. I am traveling today, but will let you know how it goes and if I have any additional questions.
Thank you,
ShaunOctober 20, 2016 at 9:06 pm #50358That worked for what I need it to do.
Is there a way to get rid of the white background though?
Thanks again,
ShaunOctober 21, 2016 at 4:00 am #50369It is a white band that goes the entire length of the page behind the button.
October 21, 2016 at 5:43 am #50376Hi Shaun,
Add this code in custom css box:
pre{background-color:inherit; background:none !important; border:none !important;}
Regards,
BradOctober 21, 2016 at 1:20 pm #50446That custom CSS worked. Thank you
I have another issue now, unfortunately. At the bottom of each page, below the footer there is a white box with forward and back arrows. When I click on it, it will take me to the top of the page I am on. This was there before the CSS was put in.
I cannot seem to find where it is coming from.
Appreciate your time and patience.
Shaun
