I am having difficulty moving “front page” sections of my SKT Theme to other pages like the “About” and “Contact Us” pages. When I move them using the drop down and publish it disappears from the “Front page” but does not appear on the other pages.
Also, is there a way to change the content of the “front page” if I want to use the theme’s “front page” as the “home page” of my website?
It is weird to have www.mydomain.com/ and www.mydomain.com/home serve different content. Currently the first URL delivers the SKT default theme content with home section 1-17 and I do not see anywhere that I can change the content. It would make most sense to have the home page of the website be the root directory or (http://hwww.mydomain.com/).
Would you please let me know what I need to do to move Home sections to other pages and how to modify the main page from the SKT theme’s content in home sections?
Thank you
December 4, 2017 at 5:18 am #88744Hi,
Kindly go to appearance>menus>and then remove your homepage from it and then add via Custom links the navigation title Home and your website domain URL: http://hwww.mydomain.com/ and this would solve having 2 homepages.
Now kindly go to appearance>theme options>sections and check how the sections are set up from there. To understand homepage sections kindly check the documentation of the theme.

ShriDecember 4, 2017 at 2:40 pm #88830So when installing the SKT Theme it created a page at http://www.mydomain.com/ but I do not see it in the “pages” section of word press. It is on the appearance>theme> customize page – and I can customize it there, but I do not see where to delete the page or to manage the text/content of this page.
I will check out the documentation.
Why isn’t the default page at the root of the domain selectable in the Word Press dashboard > pages> section?
After copying this code to another page like a new home page – is it possible to delete the page at http://www.mysite.com/? It is the page that the SKT theme added all content to after installed, like the image slider and other cool features.
