Social media icons under header

Hi, I’m using the Girlie theme. I want to put a social media icon widget at the top of my page. There is a widget section called “Sidebar Main” but it doesn’t show on the main page. Where/how can I put the icons on the main page, but NOT at the bottom/footer? Thanks for your help!

You need to include PHP widget plugin and then use the code:

<?php echo do_shortcode( <em>shortcode of social icons</em> ) ?>

Ok, I’ve done it and no changes. I’m not really sure how it’s supposed to work. I added the plugin to the “Sidebar Main” section, nothing happened.
