After treating default pages as blogs (without blog mechanics) side bar appeared. After using this, sidebar widget appeared for Default Page. Working forever after. Changed everything back to default pages. Magic, I suspect.
And, of course, using short codes is solving my issues with limited template. Though I am still awkward at it…I’m on a learning curve.
On slider, top caption is too high if page is at higher %. Tried to lower it with HTML but it didn’t work. Lower caption lent itself to adjusting with HTML. Essentially, I’ve moved upper caption down to bottom with added text. Upper caption would work better if it was in center or just slightly higher
Okay. Can you show us screenshot or URL of the area of caption.
We can understand better and solve it in next update of the theme.
