Video on the home page slider

We want to put a Video on the slide of the home page.

We have created a template with Elementor in which we have embedded the video and the shortcode of this template we have placed in Front page > Custom Slider

We want the video to play automatically on page load, but the problem is that the autoplay of the video does not work and for it to play it is necessary to click on play.
How can we fix this?

If you want to autoplay video in slider? So kindly use revolution slider.

There is an option for autoplay video in the revolution slider.

Hi Chris,

We always try to install as few plugins as possible to lighten the page load. That is why we are interested in using Elementor, which we already have installed to manage the design of the web page.

We have been looking for information on how to get video autoplay to work. To solve it we only had to mute the video. As it is a video without an audio track, for that reason the autoplay did not work. By canceling the sound it works correctly.

We leave this information in case it may be of interest to another user.
