HI, thanks, but this isn’t what I asked for. This is changing the text colour for the menu items, whereas what I want to do is change the transparency of the menu bar background. I know how to do this via the css, but am having difficulty finding the rule,
Helen
Thanks for your reply – is there any way I can add the code to the custom css? I could do with playing around with the transparency,
Helen

Password protect – name: lesley, pw jfemp0516This is the most extreme example – I particularly want to leave the menu text colour white,
Helen
Yes, I’ve done that – it’s fine. However, when I set the featured image on the shop page, it doesn’t update – it remains with the image specified in Theme Options>Homepage slider. Is this correct?
Thanks, Helen
Got it – hadn’t noticed it was on the Slider page,
Thanks, Helen
Right – I’ve just worked out what’s happening. Ref my other query, I see that post innerbanner images are pulling from the Homepage slider Theme Options tab – and that this is also what’s producing the image for the Shop and Product pages – not, as I thought, the Featured Image from the Shop page. Is there any way around this? I’d prefer the Shop and News pages to have different banner images.
Thanks, Helen
Great – thanks very much. I see that you’ve sorted out the shop page, and also the missing banner images. The only thing is that the banner image isn’t the featured image on the Shop page, so I’m not quite sure what’s happened there. I’ll need to update this image periodically so need to know how to do this.
Can you have a look?
Thanks, HelenThanks – I see it, but am still having problems. The shop page is completely blank – do you know whether there should be a Woocommerce shortcode there to display the products (I’ve set up a test one).
Also – the featured image isn’t showing up. Most of my pages are full width, but I want the shop/product pages to have the default template setting with the right sidebar. I’ve used one of my standard full width banner images as I assumed the theme would reduce the size but this is evidently not the case. Do I need to use a different size?Thanks, Helen
I’ve had to increase the max-width to 1023 to catch the 768px width, but now all the usual widths seem fine – thanks!
Thanks, done it but it doesn’t seem to have worked. Could you have another look for me? It obviously needs to be fully responsive,
Regards, Helen
Thanks – I’ve added it, but am still seeing the white space.
I think it’s possible that some of my other media queries are conflicting with it but can’t work out why. Some of them were provided by yourselves to prevent the top and bottom of the page innerbanners being cropped, so I don’t want to remove them.Here are all the queries in my custom css – what I don’t understand is why the max width 1023px one isn’t removing the white space – I reckon there must be something else somewhere in the theme overriding it?
.slider-main { min-height:500px; padding-top:113px;}
.innerbanner { padding-top:113px; padding-bottom: 180px}@media screen and (max-width:1023px) {
.slider-main, .innerbanner { padding-top:0; padding-bottom:0; margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0;}
.container, .sponsercontent {text-align: left;}
}@media screen and (min-width:1024px) and (max-width:1159px){
.innerbanner{padding-bottom:0 !important;} }Thanks!
Thanks – I assume though that this means I will need to create a child theme, which is something I wanted to avoid?
Hi – ref your email, thanks – it’s simply that I want the page to open in a new window and am not sure of the correct code for the short code…
Helen
Gotcha – many thanks. In case this is useful to anyone else – Have also added 180px to the bottom padding for .innerbanner, as was losing the bottom of the image
Hi, wondering whether anyone has had a chance to look into this yet – I could do with getting it sorted,
Thanks,
Helen -
