OK, this is not quite right because it affects both the blog roll on the “blog page and the images on the individual blog posts.
Surely there must be a standard setting in the theme that governs the size of the featured image?
Brad, Great, thanks. That has fixed it!
Made an edit to the Syntax above to add ‘screen’ in second CSS call, but has not helped!
No it does not seem to have fixed the issue as far as I can see. I have added:
@media screen and (max-width: 480px) { .WDimages { margin:0 !important; padding:0 !important; width:100% !important; } } @media and (max-width: 767px) { .WDimages { margin:0 !important; padding:0 !important; width:100% !important; } }
Thanks that has helped.
I now seem to have blank space on the right hand side of the page when viewed on a mobile screen.
Is there a way to fix this?
Hi,
Sorry I am not handing out the login details to the site.
The issue with the lack of responsiveness is to do with the theme’s code, not to do with the mods we have done. I have tested this by striping out all our mods and the issue persists.
Andy
Still looking for help with these issues please.
The real issue is that the header images do not seem to be fully responsive. I have tried stripping out all my modifcations, using recommended header images sizes etc, but nothing seems to work.
If we can’t get a fix for this then I will need to move on to yet another WP theme. Believe me when I say I have tried many themes and there are so many themes with flakey code, quirky implementations and bad support and I hoped that this would not be the case with this particular theme, but the harder I work it, the more we seem to have issues.
More than a little frustrated by this.
Thanks Brad,
In the mean time can you please suggest a way to mod the theme so that it reverts to the original theme styling/layout for smaller screens?
I’m afraid my skills with CSS are limited…!
Andy
HI Brad,
OK this seems to bust the them a bit in mobile device size. My @Media tag needs to revert to the themes lay out whereby the slide is below the header area and the header is a solid colour I think!
Andy
Done!
While you are at it, can you possibly suggest a mod for styling the menu with 0.8 opacity to match on smaller screens (phones & tablets). Is it the “.toggle” class I need to edit.
Thanks
Great, fast support and clear suggestions for mods to themes! Thanks
Brad,
Thanks! Great mods…!
And even greater support. Brilliant!
