this works but only for the title… I have added

.nivo-caption h1{background-color:grey !important;}

and now the background color of the title is grey. Thankyou!!!

Is there a way to change the background and the color of the small text below as well? On darc pictures it is not possible to read this text at all if it is black.

this means the title of this topic should not be “”Colors of Slider” but “Colors and Background of Text in Slider”

The reason for this is the black color of the font is with certain pics only very hard to read. If you can put the background of the text to lightgrey it is much better to read.

Hi Shri,

This is great! It works…. -however if you have it to “Wide / Full width layout” the settings on Appearance>Customize>Background are not visible.

However, the custom CSS Setting for header, .container, .wrapper_main{background:#000;} works.

If you do that and change the whole layout from white to black there is a huge spot left and right to the header remaining white…. -if this can be changed as well it would be real perfect.
