The key was to clear browser cache. I did not perform this step the first time. Thanks.
Although most of the customizer is working, I see things like this CSS line:
customize-theme-controls .customize-control.hideslider, .hideslider {
display: none !important;
}that hides the H4 titles on the BASIC –> FONT-TYPOGRAPHY section, so you really don´t know what font type you are customizing.
To be more clear about this, I am experiencing the issue described above in two different sites with two different themes:

SKT GArdeningAnd the version of WordPress I updated to was 4.7.1
I am experiencing the same issue, please advice on resolution (if available).
Is there any special URL to download the themes upgraded to WordPress 4.7?
I have followed the instructions above for theme SKT Gardening and I am still unable to customize the theme.

This is not resolving the issue. Please read the issue description again:
My webpage menu contain sub-menus.
If the webpage is displayed on a touch device with enough horizontal resolution to display the menu as a header menu (typically on a tablet in landscape mode), there is no way to access the options on the sub-menus, as by touching the main menu option you are automatically redirected to the target page. Most of the times is even impossible to display the submenu, but even if it is displayed, there’s no way to select a sub-option.

The search functionality on the forum does not work very good. If you search for “complete touch” nothing is found although there is a topic titled “Problems with Complete Pro menu on touch devices”.
