Hi Dave I emailed login details over today. If you can add Proxima font below to the fonts I can access in the SKT Customiser I’d really appreciate it. I need to launch the site on Monday, so tomorrow is the last opportunity to update before launch. Many thanks in advance.
@font-face {
font-family: ‘ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold’;
src: url(‘ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold.eot?#iefix’) format(’embedded-opentype’), url(‘ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold.woff’) format(‘woff’), url(‘ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold.ttf’) format(‘truetype’), url(‘ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold.svg#ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold’) format(‘svg’);
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}I have sent my login details to have a closer look. The page you should look at is: https://www.thenestsouthwark.org.uk/corona-virus-covid-19/
There are 2 tool tips coded in. One in the first paragraph ‘pandemic’ and one in the first Accordion section ‘fake news’.
Thanks
Kirk
hi, Dave, the code I got it different to your example above for Assistant: The CSS I have is:
@font-face {
font-family: ‘ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold’;
src: url(‘ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold.eot?#iefix’) format(’embedded-opentype’), url(‘ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold.woff’) format(‘woff’), url(‘ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold.ttf’) format(‘truetype’), url(‘ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold.svg#ProximaNovaSoftW03-Semibold’) format(‘svg’);
font-weight: normal;
font-style: normal;
}Is this correct to paste into the theme folder -> lib -> includes -> google_fonts.php
Is that all I need to do to have access to this font in the slider?
Thanks
Hi thanks, although can you tell me how to find the theme folder to paste it in? I can’t seem to find that. Do I need to go into the hosting or can I do this from WordPress end?
Thanks
Rachel
hi, I’m still awaiting a response on this query please.
best wishes,
Rachel
hi guys, Just to let you know that I think that I’ve resolved this issue. I uninstalled all plugins and started installing again 1 by 1. One of them must have been causing the scroll problem.
Thanks
Rachel
Also, I’ve removed all Chrome extensions & have the most recent version of Chrome, with no updates pending. This is also not happening in Chrome on any other websites.
Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you on Monday.
Best, wishes
Hi, Can you please check the site again using CHROME.
It appears to be an issue with the Chrome browser only. I have tried it on Chrome on different machines and the problem is the same.
Please see the scroll problem on this recording: https://vimeo.com/411792383
Please do get back to me early next week if you can, as I need to launch the site on 4th May & need to resolve this before then.
Thanks
Rachel
hi, thanks for checking the site.
I seem to have improved the issue by installing a smooth scroll plugin. I have checked on a few other devices & browsers and some appear fine (Safari), but my Chrome browser is still slow & jerky, like it’s catching up with itself.
I ran it through this tool and it only got a score of 46 out of 100 for page load speed:
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thenestsouthwark.org.uk%2FAny further advice would be great, although I’ll assume it’s something odd happening with my browser. thanks again.
Rachel
Thanks
Hi, thanks for this, however Adobe Fonts don’t actually permit downloading the font files. They are just ‘activated’ through my Adobe account for use in my software.
They do offer this for using a font on a website. How could this work with your customiser please?

Many thanks

Hi, the problem is, that the scrolling of the home page is very very slow, both when working in Elementor edit and when viewing the site generally:
https://www.thenestsouthwark.org.uk/
I’ve not experienced this with Elementor before or any of your themes. I don’t have any large images or a large number of plug-ins. What could this be?
I can share with you the login if you need to look further.
Thanks
I know you’re busy, but a response on this today would be much appreciated. As an update, I just installed a smooth scroller plugin to see if this would solve it, but it didn’t affect the scroll.
Thanks
Thanks Dave, that’s solved it.
best wishes.
Rachel
hi Dave, please see the footer image screenshot. the titles of the footer columns are NOT displaying as Ariel. I cleared my cashe, so it’s not a cashing issue on my laptop. Can you share an image of them as Ariel with me?
