V PruntyThanks, That worked. However the vertical layout of the login widget makes the top bar height appear very large. Is there a way to show login/register elements side by side (horizontal) so the top bar is not so large?

The duplicate top image (not stretched now) is still showing twice – once at the top of the post and then again with the post.

For instance, I tried copying the registration code into the top right widget, but it ended up displaying the URL for my Sign Up page in the top bar.Here is the url for the sreenshot:

I was not able to find the option to change a static header image in any give single page (in my case, “About”) to a slider. Also would like my Front/Home post page “News” to just have an image – no slider. Seems like settings are being overridden. Does this need to be done via custom codes? If, so what are they? One other question, what is the best image size for full-width header and slider images? I am finding that some are cut off with only the top portion of the image showing, even with cropping.
