All the pages are in Draft mode then how do you expect them to show under Select a Page option??

It shows nothing because you have none of the pages as active or published.

Our theme does not support sidebar on the homepage for internal pages you can have sidebar.

In our theme we have this feature that if you upload a featured image on any page it sets up as a header on that page if you don’t set a featured image it will continue to show appearance >> customize >> header image.
