Finally, I found the most professional and helpful webmasters with SKT Themes after two years getting nowhere, I would recommend their services to anyone and I will also be doing further websites with them in the future, not only are they professional but are efficient and helpful in assisting with any questions thank you to Shri and the team at SKT
It is not appearing as a popup and the shortcode shows on the page. I did not remove any ‘ marks.

It also appears in a new tab instead of where it belongs over the page.
I pasted the new video link where the old one was…. Was that not right?
Except now it shows the shortcode on the home page…
I disabled the PopUp Video plugin and then enabled it again and the correct video appears… except there is NO VIDEO LINK in the link box in the editor. (??!!))

Those items were in list format in the SKT theme, taking a lot of space on the page, and I wanted a normal drop menu. There were other issues with the SKT theme. I got impatient and found another theme. I only had the weekend to complete the upgrade process.
