Thank you!
But I don’t want to add featured images to pages… I know how to do that.
I want to omit them on certain posts.
Example post: https://saudadesdeportugal.nl/?p=94274&preview=1&_ppp=9ed840f073
Where I don’t want the featured image to show. But it needs a featured image on the homepage, in categories, etc. Just not showing in te actual post.

I don’t want it for all (new) posts, just certain ones I choose.
I’ll go and check it out, thanks!
You don’t see this first: https://imgur.com/DwLFBPb ??
Okay, I get it. Will take it up with them (when you checked the plugin was disabled).
Last question. What is causing this screen to show all the time? – https://imgur.com/a/FJUNhNQ
Every time I click on an article or something in the menu to go to a different page on my website I see this (very ugly!). This was never the case before…
Tried that one as well… I activated it again, but can’t get my custom theme to extend to AMP. Is this: https://ampforwp.com/tutorials/article/child-theme-amp/ the way??
Answer from AMP plugin: “Thank you for switching back to the AMP plugin, This looks more like a CSS issue that is related to your theme and not the AMP plugin, When you switched to transitional mode your primary theme will be served for both non-AMP as well AMP pages. but in case your theme is not AMP compatible it will look messy.”
See here what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/ns6dlvF
I don’t know if the fixed element is causing it, but now my menu disappears from time to time (on the homepage)… Leaving the area above the header photo’s completely blanc. https://saudadesdeportugal.nl/
I deactivated the plugin I have been using for years (official AMP plugin) and installed another one, as it was suddenly causing issues resulting in a very ugly mobile version of my website. Obviously i would like to switch back and not have compatibility issues.
Plugin support told me this: “Thank you for contacting us, Your theme SKT Girlie is not AMP compatible, but if you have recently updated your theme (parent theme) it may result in various issues.”
I am not sure what’s causing all the issues with my website lately…
PS: I just installed the Classic Widgets plugin. Let’s hope that way the widget tab doesn’t cause any more issues! 🤞🏻
It’s not my site that is overloaded. My site is overloading the hosting’s server when just opening the widget page (let alone adjust something). If that happens they block me and I can’t do anything anymore…
* The 504 error is not related to that issue. It does happen occasionally though. But that’s not why I am reaching out to you, as indeed it has nothing to do with my theme.
The problem was not them not working…
The problem was that when I open the widget page my hosting instantly gets overloaded with request from my website. Hence I get blocked. Because opening said page already causes issues I can’t adjust anything. Tried that quickly before getting blocked, but the same issue… server overload.
So also with adjusted widgets my website keeps spamming my hostings server… Something on that page is causing problems, but I have no idea what/how/why?!
